1910s Style Cheongsam Top
This 1910s inspired cheongsam top was completely hand stitched, using traditional Chinese clothes-making technique. The pattern was drafted directly over the fabric, which was folded into four layers. The bias binding was stiffened with a glue made of a mixture of water and flour. The frog buttons were individually made with bias-cut fabrics folded into eight layers, and attached to the cheongsam top.
